Thanks for this. I was in a TTI school when i came out. Also is when a Dr realized we are intersex. We had that information obscured from us and our parents. They forced me to develop female. I was forced to take estrogen from developing too androgynous. Had my lgbt books taken from me, my peers punished fir usong masculine nicknamesz, told tk forget it and jot mention again until 18. Had to wear tops that feminized my nationally androgynous chest. Had therapist make me shave mt legs, wax my brows amd wear push up bras at 13. Was trained like a dog to act feminine and NT. They sent home a broken child. Its so important people call it wjat it is, conversion therapy. My parents would have struggled with it, but would have let me develop masculine if we were in their care. When we went home we didn't need to take the estrogen they say it hurt me. When i came out again as an adult my dad felt so wronged, not by me but by the government funded "treatment " school forcing their androgynous son tk be a little girl he never was. He realized in thst moment i went through conversion therapy, but I struggle to accept it for what it is. Its until recently not been a word i wanted to claim. But covert conversion therspy is very real, especially in these situations where therapist might have custody of ones kids in a group home, treatment home or TII school. Mind you many parents and families like mine are lied to about thesr places to send kids there, my parents wanted to help their traumatized kid not torture me. They are not bad parents or bad people

I haven't done a deep dive but from what I've read, one of Chloe Cole's main things that pushed her to detransition was that she realised after top surgery that she wouldn't be able to breastfeed. Like, yeah... that's kind of the whole point of top surgery. To give you a male chest. With no breasts. How do you only realise that AFTER surgery??
